Welcome to Hearts of Clay! Where everyone is an artist!
For the same price as the movies, why not spend some real quality time with your loved ones? Date night, Family Night or Girls Night, Hearts of Clay Pottery Painting Studio is Spartanburg's answer to affordable entertainment.
Sit down, relax, and settle in our spacious studio to create that one-of-a-kind piece for yourself or a loved one. You concentrate on your masterpiece, not the clock. It will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup one week after you finish it.
Our goal is to contribute to the Spartanburg community by offering a wholesome family activity that is both enriching and fun.
You will love programs offered thoughout the week, such as Paint Me a Story, Girls Night Out, Glass Demos, Pottery Wheel classes and more…
How does Hearts of Clay work?
1-Pick Out Your Pottery!
Choose from banks, boxes, letters, plates, bowls, mugs, platters, figurines, plaques, coasters, vases, picture frames...and more! Prices to fit every budget, starting at $3.00.
2-Paint!
You do not have to be a pro at painting, we'll help you. Our instructions will help you know how everything works. We have stamps, stencils, picture books and designs painted on samples throughout the store. We also have Special Art Glazes available for $6 that gives you an instant masterpiece with only 3 coats! And, we clean up after you are finished painting!
3-Pick-up Your Finished Pottery!
Your pottery will be ready one week from the day you paint. Our pottery is food safe, but should be treated with the love that you put into making it!.
That means no microwave or dishwasher. Your items will last a lifetime if treated well!
